Two Output Modes: Text-Editable vs. Image Slides
Mode 1: Text-Editable Slides (Recommended)
PDF Agile reconstructs text blocks as editable PowerPoint text boxes, positioned at their original coordinates on the slide canvas. Best for PDFs that were originally created from a PowerPoint or Word source.
Mode 2: Image-Based Slides
Each PDF page is rendered as a high-resolution image embedded on a slide. Use this when the PDF contains complex graphical layouts where pixel-perfect visual fidelity matters more than text editability.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the converted PPT slides look exactly like the PDF?
In Text-Editable mode, complex graphical PDFs may have minor positional differences due to font rendering. For pixel-perfect output, use Image-Based mode. For editable slides, Text-Editable mode is the right choice.
Can I select which pages of the PDF to convert?
Yes. Enter a custom page range (e.g., 5-12) in the conversion dialog to export only the slides you need rather than the entire PDF.
Does it work for scanned PDF presentations?
Yes. Enable OCR mode to recognize text in scanned PDFs before converting. The resulting .pptx will have editable text boxes containing the recognized content.
